The identity of a piece.

Exploring provenance without making the wearer the product.

A garment can have a history: its collection, materials, care and origin. We are exploring how a future product record could make that information easier to access.

A direction, not a live service

Serialized identification and NFC are possibilities for future development. There is no active DUZ authentication registry. A tag or plausible serial number alone does not prove that a garment is authentic.

Keep the purpose clear

Our intention is to identify the object and explain its care. Any future digital feature will need a clear description of what it records, why and how the owner controls it. Observer can be explored today without an account or location permission.
